Cecilia's administrative talents and vocal gifts further empower her leadership. Known for her kind heart, she fosters a welcoming and supportive environment at Aviva.

Cecilia finds peace and connection in nature and enjoys spending time with animals. Her love for Japanese food reflects her appreciation for different cultures and experiences. Together with her husband, Victor, they've built a strong partnership for over 20 years.

Victor Cruz is a multifaceted leader with a passion for helping others. He serves as the Executive Pastor at Aviva Church, leveraging his gifts in administration, giving, and teaching to guide the church's operations. 

Victor's dedication to service extends to his work as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor at Catholic Charities and his ownership of Asesores Hispanos, a business advising organization that empowers the Hispanic community.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Victor enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle through his interest in nutrition and staying informed as a Wall Street enthusiast. This well-rounded perspective allows him to bring a unique blend of skills and knowledge to all his endeavors.

Ricardo Reyes, Associate Minister at Aviva Church, brings a spirit of connection and growth to the community. With a deep commitment to his faith and an unwavering dedication to his congregation, Ricardo collaborates closely with the lead pastor, providing vital support and ensuring a welcoming environment for all. His presence at Aviva Church is marked by his genuine care and compassion, making him a beloved figure among church members.

Outside of ministry, Ricardo enjoys spending time in nature, participating in sports, and cherishing moments with his family. Whether hiking through scenic trails, playing a friendly game of soccer, or enjoying a picnic with his loved ones, 

Ricardo's dedication to his family is evident in the way he balances his responsibilities at the church with his role as a loving husband and father. 

Ruthy Reyes brings sunshine and faith to Aviva Church. A devoted mother and servant of the Lord, Ruthy uplifts spirits with her warm smile and infectious laugh. Her presence is a constant source of encouragement and inspiration for everyone around her.

Her loyalty, kindness, and honesty make Ruthy a true friend to all. She is always there to lend a listening ear or offer a helping hand, embodying the values of compassion and community. Her vibrant personality and genuine care for others create an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance wherever she goes.

And let's not forget the delicious Mexican food – a testament to her love for family and the joy she finds in bringing people together over a good meal. Ruthy's culinary skills are a reflection of her rich cultural heritage and her desire to share love and comfort through food.

Talina Morales uplifts hearts at Aviva Church as their Worship Leader, weaving her gifts of serving, evangelism, and shepherding into powerful music. 

A songwriter, musician, and recording artist, Talina's faith finds expression through her music, including her anthem "Llegar," which emerged from her battle with breast cancer. This experience fuels her dream of sharing her music with a global audience.

Beyond the worship stage, Talina is a successful entrepreneur with a 12-year career as a massage therapist and owner of her own massage business. Her passion for Korean culture adds another dimension to her vibrant personality, and her great sense of humor brings joy to those around her.

Irelis Ortiz, our Worship Director, brings a deep passion for music and a desire to connect with people to her role. 

A skilled multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, percussion, and more!), Irelis love for music began at an early age and continues to fuel his creative energy as he leads our worship services. When she's not creating inspiring music, 

Irelis enjoys exploring the outdoors through hiking and cherishes spending quality time with his family.  Her dedication to her faith and love for people shines through in everything she does.

Josué  is a minister with a musical heart and a generous spirit. Josué brings a vibrant energy to his ministry. His warm humor and genuine care for others create a welcoming atmosphere. 

A dedicated leader, he is also a man of many talents. Completely self-taught, Josué can light up a room with his drumming, piano, or bass playing. His passion for music extends to singing and joyful worship, both in church and at home.

Beyond his musical gifts, Josué has a deep appreciation for the natural world and enjoys spending quiet time fishing with loved ones. A curious foodie, he delights in exploring the flavors of different cultures. 

Roberto Colon isn't your average youth leader. From Ponce, Puerto Rico, he brings a unique blend of passion and relatability to his role at AVIVA Church in Cleveland.

By day, Roberto applies his sharp mind as a business analyst. But after hours, his heart belongs to the youth group he leads with infectious energy and a genuine understanding of their world.

Roberto, originally from a family of pastors, has a deep-rooted faith he shares with his wife Karelys and their growing family (including a furry friend and a soon-to-be-born child!). 

As a youth leader, Roberto prioritizes creating a safe space where teenagers can explore their faith, openly ask questions, and grow together in a supportive and fun environment. His dedication and relatable spirit make him a valuable asset to the AVIVA church family.

Kareryls Ortiz was born and raised in the vibrant culture of Puerto Rico. She moved to Ohio at the tender age of ten. Growing up in a Christian home, with pastor parents, instilled in her a deep-rooted faith and a passion for serving others. Today, she is a dedicated wife, expectant mother, and licensed clinical social worker.

While her roots are firmly planted in Puerto Rico, her taste buds have found a home in the flavors of Mexico and El Salvador. Spending quality time with loved ones and being part of the vibrant Aviva Church community brings her immense joy.

The passing of her mother in 2021 was a profound experience that deepened her faith and ignited a stronger desire to serve God. As an elder at Aviva, She is committed to sharing God's love and compassion within our community.
